However, if your pet does not respond well to the oil administered alone, it can of course be mixed with food. We remind again that the consumption of CBD products in Spain is not allowed.  <\/p>\n<p>Now that we have some introductory points clear, let&#8217;s get to know the exact calculation for ideal use of cannabis oil for pets. A <strong>maximum dose of 1 mg of CBD per kg of body weight<\/strong> is used <strong>.<\/strong> The maximum dose for a dog weighing 10 kg would be 10 mg of CBD per day. <\/p>\n<p>Thus, we will start with a dose of 0.1 mg\/kg every 12 hours (twice a day), being the lowest dose for one week and observe the effects. Many times, a low dose will work well. If no effect is seen, it is recommended to increase to 0.25 mg\/kg twice a day or go up as needed.
